Seminar on Explanation of State Support Measures was Held in Almaty Region
On November 9, 2022, a seminar was held in Konaev city to explain the measures of state support for investment and entrepreneurial activity in the Republic of Kazakhstan, organized by the national company KAZAKH INVEST at the site of the Almaty Region Akimat.
With reports for representatives for the Kazakh business community, social and entrepreneurial corporations, local executive bodies, managing companies of the SEZ Almaty and Shymkent, Almaty, Zhambyl, Turkestan and Kyzylorda regions, spoke employees of KAZAKH INVEST, the Investment Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan Industry and Export Center QazIndustry JSC, Trade Policy Development Center QazTrade JSC, " Export insurance company "KazakhExport" JSC, "Entrepreneurship Development Fund "Damu" JSC, "Kazakhstan Center for Public-Private Partnership" JSC, International Financial Center "Astana", as well as the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Atameken".
During the seminar, the participants were provided with detailed information about the available measures of state support for investments, a wide range of benefits and preferences, mechanisms for supporting investors within the framework of the investment ombudsman, etc. Also, problematic issues of operating enterprises were discussed.
In her speech, the Head of the KAZAKH INVEST One-Stop Shop Group, Aigerim Koilakova, told the seminar participants about the functionality of the service support system, which includes information and legal support, conclusion of an investment contract and organization of negotiations. New measures of state support for investments, such as the Investment Agreement, as well as a tax credit, were covered in detail.
As part of the visit to the Almaty region, a visit was made to investment projects supported by KAZAKH INVEST, including the Mareven Food Tien Shan food production plant, the Shin Line ice cream plant, the Fruit Art fruit freezing plant. There was also a visit to the Regional Development Center for the Almaty region.
