Processing plant of the camel milk launched in Almaty region
On the Day of the First President, a plant for the production of camel milk powder Daulet-Beket LLP with a capacity of 30 tons of finished powder per month was launched in the Ili district of the Almaty region. The project cost is 1 billion tenge. The export-oriented plant was opened on the basis of the only one in Kazakhstan, the largest enterprise for the processing of camel milk. The products will be sold to the domestic market, as well as to Russia, China, Turkey, Germany and France, - the press service of the akim of the Almaty region reports.
Speaking at the opening of the new plant, akim of the Ili region Bagdat Karasayev noted:
- First of all, I congratulate everyone on the Day of the First President and the 30th anniversary of Independence. Attracting investments, opening new industries and creating jobs are the most important instructions of the Elbasy and the President of the country. By the end of the year, 15 new enterprises will be opened and 12 expanded in the Ili region. By the end of the year, about 122 billion tenge of investments will be attracted to the region's economy with the creation of 515 jobs. Including the modern plant for the production of camel milk powder Daulet-Beket LLP, which is being opened today, attracting 1 billion tenge of investments and creating 25 new jobs. It is the largest agricultural enterprise with a 20-year history of development, whose success is directly related to the achievements of the 30th anniversary of Independence. The farm of this enterprise contains 5 thousand camels, a shubato clinic operates on its basis, and a processing plant has now been opened. Thus, a complete production cycle is ensured. The plans of the enterprise include wool processing, opening of a plant for the production of cosmetics. The entrepreneur's charitable activities deserve special words of gratitude. I am confident that Daulet-Beket LLP will continue to make a significant contribution to the region's economy. The opening ceremony continued with a visit to the new plant, where everyone was introduced to the range of Daulet-Beket LLP. Talking about the peculiarities of production, the director of the enterprise Sydyk Dauletov dwelled on the history of the formation and development of his farm.
“Initially, accustomed to breeding sheep, cows, horses, the Zhetysu community reacted to my initiative to raise camels with distrust. Due to the low demand for meat, wool, milk and camel skin, their cultivation was considered unprofitable. However, knowing that shubat and camel meat contain a large amount of vitamins necessary for the human body, I persistently continued to develop this direction and, as you can see, not in vain, ”the farmer shares his memories.
According to S. Dauletov, initially shubat was not in great demand, then the idea of producing powdered camel milk arose, thanks to which it became possible to export powdered shubat without losing useful properties. Today, by air, the products of Daulet-Beket LLP are sent to Moscow, Beijing, Shanghai. In the near future, it is planned to export to the countries of the European Union and America. It is planned to increase the number of camels to 15 thousand for the income from the export of finished products in the next 2-3 years. Today the farm maintains more than 5 thousand camels. Of these, 2.5 thousand heads of breeding stock. These are camels of the Kazakh Bactrian and Turkmen Arvana breed, the average milk yield is 5-7 thousand liters per day. By the way, LLP is engaged in fodder cultivation independently. On the farm, camels are kept in conditions of 8-hour grazing, taking into account the variety of grasses, and there are about 120 species of them, natural immunity is stimulated on the pastures, due to which the quality of camel milk is several times higher. The plans include the introduction of drip irrigation for irrigation.
Today, the farm has established the production of up to 5 tons of high-quality shubat per day, after the opening of the plant, it became possible to produce 1 ton of powdered milk per day and up to 30 tons per month.
A special place is occupied by the shubat hospital operating at the farm with 100 beds for treatment with saumal and shubat. It accepts those who need to recover from complex operations, chemotherapy, coronavirus. For 3 years of operation of the health resort, more than 5 thousand Kazakh people have undergone camel milk therapy.
For the purpose of tasting shubat and camel meat, there is one cafe in the city of Almaty. There are plans to build similar cafes on the highway connecting the Ili district and Taldykorgan. There are projects to further expand the range of kurt and cheeses made from camel milk. The opening of a plant for the production of camel milk cream for the rejuvenation and treatment of human skin is also included in the plan for next year. If now camel meat is packed for sale in special packages, then next year it is planned to implement a project for the production of canned meat with the addition of rice and buckwheat. Camel wool was not ignored either, because it has long been known that it is very light and warm light. Therefore, it is clear that in the future there will be a large project on knitting clothes from camel wool.
By the way, Daulet-Beket LLP employs 150 people, these are only those employees who work in production, are engaged in pasture grazing. There are also those who are involved in the sale of products in 168 stores throughout Kazakhstan.
The charitable activity of Daulet-Beket LLP deserves special words; for 20 years of its existence, Sydyk Dauletov has done a lot of good deeds. So today, a large family from the village of Akshi, which brings up 7 children, has not been left without attention. On the eve of the 30th anniversary of Independence, the company presented them with a new comfortable house with an area of 120 sq. meters with all amenities and necessary infrastructure, including gas heating. The district akimat provided assistance in purchasing furniture and basic household appliances.
- We rented housing before, it was not easy. In 2019, I had a triplet. Today we have 4 daughters and 3 sons. We turned to the regional akimat for help. They promised to help us. But I could not even imagine that today's holiday, the Day of the First President, our family will meet in a new large house of their own, which was built and presented to us by businessman Sydyk Dauletov. This is great happiness. I express my sincere gratitude to him and wish him further success in business, - said mother of many children Akmaral Aitzhanova.

In any case, the main thing is perseverance, selfless work, faith in yourself and your success. My enterprise is one of the brightest results of Independence. But I do not intend to stop there, I have many plans, I will try to further develop my business, continue to contribute to the socio-economic development of Zhetysu, help and support my fellow countrymen as much as possible, create jobs, produce high-quality and useful products.
It should be noted that the Ili district is one of the largest industrial regions of the Almaty region. The volume of industrial production exceeds 450 billion tenge. There are 21 large and medium-sized enterprises, 6 city-forming ones.
