An innovative fruit and berry plant will appear in Kazakhstan
«FRUIT ART» LLP is an export-oriented food company specializing in the full production cycle of processed freeze-dried products. The production process includes growing, storage, and deep processing of fruit and berry products.
Employees of JSC «NC «KAZAKH INVEST» consulted a domestic company, assisted in completing the application form, and drafted a business plan. These measures facilitated the signing of an investment contract with the Investment Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Domestic producers will now be able to take advantage of state support in the form of investment preferences, which greatly facilitates the development and establishment of business in the initial stages.
The project targets the EU, USA, Japanese and South Korean markets for the supply of frozen and freeze-dried fruit and berries to corporate clients and retail chains. Frozen products are also exported to neighboring countries, including China and the CIS countries.
The plant includes a fruit storage facility with a capacity of 15 000 tons of product with a controlled atmosphere. The company plans to process up to 12 000 tons of raw fruit per year. On average, this amounts to 1 200 tons of freeze-dried products a year, depending on the type and variety of raw materials.
The investor is ready to create up to 250 workplaces in Almaty region.
As regards sales, the company held negotiations with retail networks «BioSec» (Germany), Islamic Food Safety Organization, and Islamic Food Processing Association to secure off-take contracts with «Karfur» global network (UAE) and «Qatar Airways» (Qatar).
For other target markets, the company has started working with the state agency JSC «QazTrade», which ensures the promotion of Kazakh producers in foreign markets.
