The volume of investments in the Almaty region increased by 19%
Since the beginning of the year, 10 large investment projects have been implemented in the Almaty region.
Akim of Almaty region Marat Sultangaziyev met with residents of Enbekshikazakh district, where he informed in detail about the socio-economic development of the region and listened to the problematic issues that concern the population.
For 8 months of this year, the volume of investments in the Almaty region increased by 19%.
According to the regional akim, 10 large investment projects have been implemented since the beginning of the year, where about 700 jobs have been created. Among them are such enterprises as the poultry farm "Nauryz Agro", the plant for the production of building materials from alloys "Alyugal", the production of medical titanium implants and simulators "Medical Holding Sintez-KZ", the fishery "Karasaz Agro" and others.
About 26 billion tenge of investments were attracted to the development of the economy of the Enbekshikazakh region, which is 1.2 times more than last year. At the same time, the share of the district in the total volume of the region slightly exceeds 8 percent. In this regard, the akim of the region noted the need to increase the inflow of investments into the region.
“To date, about 20 projects have already been implemented, including the Shelek wind power plant of Zhetysu Energia LLP with a capacity of 60 MW, Zheruyyk Energo LLP with a capacity of 50 MW and a plant for the production, deep freezing and storage of fruits and vegetables “Frosco” with a capacity of more than 7 thousand tons, - summed up Marat Sultangaziyev.
